Stuck at home or need more flexibility? Having an online session could be the solution.

Here are some common questions about how Telehealth sessions work:

Telehealth is a videoconferencing method that allows us to have a therapy session without you coming to my office in person. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct these sessions. It has a similar feel to FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom.

All clients - new and existing - can participate in online sessions. This service is also available to all residents of South Carolina. No matter where you are - Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, or Charleston - and any city or town in-between.

If you are a new client and want to schedule a consultation, clink the button at the bottom of this page to schedule a Telehealth Consultation so we can get therapy started. If you are an existing client, you can request a Telehealth session in your client portal, or you can reach out to me and I can get you scheduled.

You will need a computer, a private space, and yourself! I recommend using a pair of headphones for added privacy as well.

After your appointment is scheduled and before it begins, you will receive an email containing a link to connect to your video session. Click the link within the email, and you will see my face on the screen! The platform that I use to conduct these sessions is already integrated with your client portal, so you don't have to keep up with multiple pieces of login information.

I understand that using technology to participate in a therapy session can be a bit anxiety provoking, especially if you're not even all that comfortable using something like FaceTime to casually communicate with friends or family. If you are hoping to become a new client, doing a Telehealth consultation is a great way to see what it's all about before beginning therapy! If you are an existing client and feel apprehensive about giving it a shot, let me know and we can do a quick and free 15 minute Telehealth orientation.
